Mourners wear pink for Alesha farewell

Alesha MacPhail

Hundreds of mourners are attending the funeral of a six-year-old girl who was killed while on holiday on a Scottish island.
Mourners were asked to wear pink to remember Alesha MacPhail who was found dead after disappearing from her grandmother's home on the Isle of Bute on 2 July.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with her rape and murder.
The funeral is being held at Coats funeral home in Coatbridge.
Funeral arrangements were posted online, with members of the community asked to "show their support and help the family through this tragedy and through this very difficult day in their lives".
